Remote Learning

Remote Learning arrangements during a partial or full school closure.

• School closures are very rare.
• Reasons for a school closure may include: severe weather conditions, health and safety issues, maintenance issues, acts of nature, severe health reasons, or low staffing numbers where appropriate ratios between staff and pupils cannot be achieved.

Remote Learning Provision

• Information regarding remote learning will be communicated via Arbor and/or Micorsoft Teams
• The work set may be from another learning platform such as Oak Academy, BBC BiteSize, Times Tables Rock Stars, etc.
• Children will be expected to login and complete the activity/lesson.
• Our Remote Learning offer will support all children and their individual needs.  Activities and tasks will be adapted to ensure inclusivity.
• Staff will have regular contact with families to enable them to be successful when learning at home.
